Small-batch, limited edition cones, created from Jack Pine Resin collected from my family cabin in the Canadian boreal forest. This cabin is where I learned the restorative power of nature and my love of the forest first developed. In other words, my favorite place on earth.
Pinewood in a kindling box next to a roaring woodstove,
Waking up with a foggy chill outside,
Lake swimming and lunch roasted over an open fire.
Woody, Resinous, Terpenic
Each cone burns for 20-30 minutes and perfumes a room for 2-3 hours.
Approx 25 cones
This is what I get for not reading about the scent itself and instead getting caught up in the excitement of the name. I’m a sucker for pine scented things and was not prepared for how smoky the scent really is and not at all in a bad way! It’s like being at a bonfire without having to worry about a bonfire.
I really love this incense. I would buy more but it's a tad expensive and I go thru it quickly. I prefer the sticks over the cones.
The fragrance was nostalgic of spending falls in the Adirondacks. I found this fragrance to be balanced and not overly smoky with an even burn. These cones are beautiful and feel luxurious.
This incense burns slowly filling my home with memories of camping trips, starry nights and the sounds of water. It’s like my relationship with dark chocolate. One a day max.
Memories of my cabin come flooding back. The smell of snow, an armload of chopped wood, kindling crackling and the smoky wisps of a freshly lit fire. I'm in the city now. But on these short winter days I still light candles every night, and these cones are a perfect addition.
